Know what CrewMark can do today.
CrewMark is a personal roster companion for pilots and cabin crew, currently in a free invite-only beta. These answers explain the current product, access conditions and the boundaries around its roster and rule information.
Private beta · Free while in beta For pilots and cabin crew. Applications are reviewed manually.

The essentials at a glance
Start by checking your roster format. The current supported PDF exports are NetLine/CrewLink and Raido. If those fit your workflow, request beta access and wait for the outcome of the manual review.
CrewMark helps organize the information you upload. It does not connect to your airline's internal scheduling system, certify a roster or execute a swap on your behalf. Keep the official roster and operator procedures as your reference.
Common questions
Who can apply for the beta?
CrewMark is designed for pilots and cabin crew. The current terms allow applications from people aged 18 or over who are working, or training to work, as flight or cabin crew with an EU- or EEA-based airline. Applicants must provide accurate professional details and follow the approval process.
Does requesting access immediately create an active account?
No. The private beta has a manual approval queue, with new crew reviewed each week. The outcome is sent by email. An application is not a guarantee of access.
Why is a work email requested?
Work-email verification is used as proof of employment at your airline. Sign-in uses a magic link sent to your personal email. See the privacy policy for the current handling of both addresses.
Which roster PDFs are supported?
NetLine/CrewLink and Raido PDF exports are currently listed. Support for another export or an unfamiliar layout needs to be confirmed. Review all parsed information against your official roster, even when the format is supported.
Which FTL and collective-agreement rules are covered?
CrewMark models EASA rules and selected national rules for bases in Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany and Switzerland. Collective-agreement detail is currently described for one operator-and-base combination. Format support does not mean that every rule affecting your roster is covered.
Can I use a finding as proof that a duty is legal or illegal?
CrewMark's findings are advisory rule breakdowns, not authoritative legal or operational decisions. Verify the inputs and coverage, then use your operator's official FTL process, applicable agreement and other appropriate official channels. CrewMark is not an EFB and is not certified by an aviation authority.
Can I add my roster to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook?
Yes. CrewMark provides an .ics file export for import into those calendar apps. It is a snapshot, not live synchronization. If the roster changes, review the revised upload and create a new export as needed.
Does CrewMark approve or arrange a swap with my airline?
No. It helps crew in the relevant airline and base scope find and agree possible swaps, with pre-checks against the rules it models. The crew members complete the actual change through official airline channels. CrewMark does not contact the airline to execute it.
Are salary figures guaranteed?
No. Salary figures are estimates based on the roster and your declared settings. CrewMark does not have authoritative access to your contract or payroll records. Compare estimates with your payslip and resolve payroll questions through your airline.
Is there an iPhone app available now?
The iPhone app is currently marked coming soon. Do not treat its planned offline features as an available download. The website keeps a browser copy but needs an internet connection to open.
Is CrewMark a document vault?
No. Its records include roster history, a career certificate and training or check expiry dates found on your roster, with medical expiry dates only if you consent. It is not a store for passports, visas or unrelated files. The career certificate is informational.
Is CrewMark affiliated with my airline?
No. CrewMark is independent of airlines and operators. Personal account, roster and salary information is not shared with your employer; information you choose to post in the swap market is visible within the relevant swap scope. The privacy policy explains service providers and data handling.
Is my roster data safe?
Roster snapshots are encrypted at rest, and the encryption key is never stored in the database. Our servers and database are in Frankfurt (EU). Backups are encrypted before they leave the server and are stored with Cloudflare (EU location, US company). You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & security. When you confirm deletion from the link we email you, your data is removed from the live database straight away. Encrypted backups are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Requests from people without an account are processed within one month (Art 12(3) GDPR).
Does CrewMark share my data with my employer?
No. CrewMark is not affiliated with any airline. Your roster, legality findings, salary calculations, and account details are never shared with HR or management, and never sold. The only outside companies that handle them are the service providers listed in our privacy policy (hosting, backups, email). What you post on the swap market is shown to crew in your swap scope.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Use Settings → Privacy & security in the web app to request deletion, then confirm through the emailed link. The current policy describes deletion from the live database on confirmation and encrypted backup retention for 30 days. Read the privacy and erasure pages for the full process.
What does it cost?
Access is free for invited beta crew. Paid plans and their prices are still being developed. The current terms require at least 30 days' notice by email before a paid plan applies to beta users and explicit opt-in before moving them to paid.
