Accessibility statement
Last updated 23 October 2026
What this statement covers
This statement covers the public website www.crewmark.tech and the web app at app.crewmark.tech.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the level used by the European standard EN 301 549.
How accessible the sites are today
Partly accessible. We have not yet completed a full accessibility audit. This statement is based on our own review of 22 October 2026; it is not a third-party certification.
What already works:
- Most animations follow your device's reduced-motion setting (see the exception below).
- The home-page phone pictures have text alternatives. Decorative backgrounds stay hidden from screen readers.
- The main navigation, buttons and calls to action on the public website can be used with a keyboard and show a visible focus outline.
Known issues
- The signed-in app (roster, legality, salary and swap screens) has not yet been checked with a screen reader.
Recently fixed (23 October 2026):
- Sign-in, the sign-in link page and two-step verification no longer turn off pinch-to-zoom (WCAG 1.4.4).
- Gold text on light backgrounds did not have enough contrast; it now uses a darker gold that meets WCAG AA.
- The home-page heading no longer blurs in when the device asks for reduced motion. Footer headings follow the page heading order, and footer and public-header links are at least 44 pixels tall.
- The privacy policy no longer scrolls sideways on narrow phone screens; wide tables scroll inside their own box.
